My Picks

Here Are a few of the sites I've visited recently that I thought were noteworthy, provided good information, or were otherwise worth visiting.

I'm starting a new shop building, 28x40 (you can never have enough room!) This website features an online ebook that covers a range of construction topics, complete with diagrams and pictures. I'm not sure where they've taken their diagrams from, but it reminds me a lot of a Gov't publication I got years ago - "Wood Frame House Construction".

If you're doing any construction work, the site is worth a visit.

A great site for recipes of all types.

One of the worst problems with web sites, is you usually put a 'Contact Us' link one one or more pages. The spambots then scan your site, pick out your email address, and suddenly you're unindated with SPAM.

This encoder is a great answer to the problem. It creates a snippet of Javascript code you can simply cut and paste right into your web page.

Click 'No Thanks' to the ads and they stop. Interesting reading if you're bored, or looking for a good opening line.
